April has a small business during the winter months making hats and scarves. A hat requires 2 hours on machine A, 4 hours on machine B, and 2 hours on machine C. A scarf requires 3 hours on machine A, 3 hours on machine B, and 1 hour on machine C. Machine A is available 36 hours per week, machine B is available for 42 hours, and machine C is available 20 hours per week. The profit on a hat is $7.00 and the profit on a scarf is $4.00. Using the information in the problem, write the constraints. Let x represent the number of hats made, and y represent the number of scarves.

Constraint equations are: 2x + 3y = 36  ; 4x + 3y = 42 ; 2x + y = 20

Because :

Hat requires = 2 hours on machine A, 4 hours on machine B, and 2 hours on machine

Scarf requires = 3 hours on machine A, 3 hours on machine B, and 1 hour on machine

Constraints given : Machine A = 36 hours , Machine B = 42 hours , machine C = 20 hours

So, constraints equation : 2 (Hats) + 3 (Scarf) = 36 ; ∴ 2x + 3y = 36

4 (Hats) + 3 (Scarf) = 42 ; ∴4x + 3y = 42

2 (Hats) + 1 (Scarf) = 20 ; ∴ 2x + y = 20

the figures below are made out of circles, semicircles, quarter … find the area and the perimeter of each figure and give your answers as a completely simplified exact value in terms of π (no approximations). remember that we'll also have to cut whatever areas we get in half, since we're only dealing im pretty sure that is the right answer

step-by-step explanation:

Very urgent! for the figures below, assume they are made of semicircles, quarter circles and square

Does the function satisfy the hypotheses of the mean value theorem on the given interval? f(x) = 4x^2 + 3x + 4, [−1, 1] no, f is continuous on [−1, 1] but not differentiable on (−1, 1). no, f is not continuous on [−1, 1]. yes, f is continuous on [−1, 1] and differentiable on (−1, 1) since polynomials are continuous and differentiable on . there is not enough information to verify if this function satisfies the mean value theorem. yes, it does not matter if f is continuous or differentiable; every function satisfies the mean value theorem.
