To find the mean you must add up all the numbers you have together and then divide the buy the amount of numbers you added. When you add these numbers up you get 30, and we have 5 numbers here, when we divide 30 by 5 we get 6. So, Tara is correct in saying that the mean is 6.

Alright, so I copied the answer from my test, and so now I'm handing it to you.

Tara would be correct. The reason to why this is the answer is that I had to add all the “number of hours in a school per day” to get 30. Then, you would have to divide 30 by 5 (because you have five different hours for a school day) to get 6. Your mean would be 6 because mean is adding up the amount of something, then dividing it of how many numbers you added.

I hope I helped.
