Answer from: alonzob2367

2x + 6y = 12(1)

4x + 3y = 15(2)

(1) * 2

= 4x + 12y= 24

SUBTRACT (1) & (2)

= 4x + 3y = 15

  4x + 12y = 24  ( - )

-9y = -9

y = 1

x = 3
