He would need 3 book shelves. They both have a common multiple of 3. 6/3 = 2 so there will be 2 reading books per shelf. 9/3 = 3 so there will be 3 math books per shelf

No a triangle cannot be formed because when you add the two smallest number together (which would be 11) the have to be bigger than the number it is "against" ( which would be 12)
