1. What came under Nazi control with The policy of coordination with months of Hitler taking power in Germany?

It pretty much established a system of totalitarian control and coordination over all aspects of German society, mainly forcing people into Nazi beliefs. If you lived in Germany or a German occupied territory, it essentially became illegal to not be a Nazi.

2. What race is belief was the focus of Nazi foreign policy?

The Nazi racial beliefs shaped both domestic and foreign policy. Nazis believed that Germans were biologically superior (the "Arian race") to all other racial groups. The ultimate goal was to create a pure Arian nation, and eventually race/world. This encouraged expansive foreign policy among those with Nazi ideals.

3. What was the Holocaust?

The Holocaust (when capitalized, proper noun) refers to the genocide of  European Jews during and leading up to WW2.

4. What was the Gestapo?

The "secret" sate police within Germany and German occupied territories.

5. From 1933 to 1939, how many decrees or regulations were placed on Jewish people living within Germany?

Fro 1933 to 1939, hundreds of laws, decrees, directives, guidelines, and regulations were put in place by the German government that restricted the civil and human rights of the Jews in Germany.

6. What was the focus on anti-Jewish legislation in 1933 and 1934?

This was the  first wave of legislation and focused largely on limiting the participation of Jews in German public life.

-Excluded German Jews from becoming citizens in the Nazi Reich

-Prevented Jews from marrying "Aryan" peoples

8. How was someone identified as being Jewish according to the Nuremberg Laws?

To be classified as a "Jew" in Nazi Germany, you could be born of Jewish pare nts or even have just three or four grandparents who were Jewish/belonged to the Jewish community.

9. List several ways that German agencies would “Aryanize” Germany.

-German Jews were excluded from society, being moved away from Aryans.

-It became legal to castrate a Jew, the idea behind this was to stop Jews from reproducing.

-Aryans were encouraged to have many children and large families.

-Transferring Jewish businesses to Aryans.

-Replacing Jewish workers with Aryan workers.

10. List several ways that German Jews were mistreated from 1937 to 1939.

-Jews could not attend public schools.

-Kristallnacht (the “Night of Broken Glass”).

-The Nuremberg Laws made Jews second-class citizens.
