According to Klose-kur-beh, the origin of the first mother was from the “beautiful blade of the plant”. The first mother showed that she “was all love” by requesting that her husband kill her and spread the parts of her body over the land as a sacrifice in order to help and save others; in addition, she provided motherhood, corn and tobacco.

The powers of the first mother compared to those of the Great Spirit, in the sense that both the first mother and the Great Spirit had powers to do good by helping people; they always had the desire to use their knowledge to uplift and care for people.
