Whom does peter have more conflict with and why in the diary of anne frank
throughout the whole diary of anne frank, peter has the most conflicts with his mother, mrs. van daan.
this is because she is naturally a very egotistical, stingy, and crabby woman. she tends to complain about their situation in hiding, when everyone knows nothing can be done about it. she instigates fights with her husband, mr. van daan, over stupid and petty things, in front of everyone, and does this frequently (like, get a grip lady, fr). she also flirts with anne's father, mr. frank, which obviously embarasses peter, but weirdly enough, doesn't bother mr. van daan, who doesn't seem to care or even notice. i think another thing that plays a big part in these conflicts with his mother as well is the huge generation gap that seperates mothers from their teenagers.
~hope i helped ouo have a nice rest of ur day~
